Ocean Bottom in 3-D

Film brings new dimensions to Imaginarium

By Judd Cribbs

A new 3-D film called "Dive!" is now up and running at the Imaginarium Hands-On Museum and Aquarium in Fort Myers.

The 22-minute film takes guests to the bottom of the ocean floor in a small submersible.

"We really wanted to enhance the aquarium side of our operations and combine that with other educational programs," says the museum's Shelby Baucom. "The 3-D film seemed like a great fit."

Guests are given 3-D glasses and it's hoped this fires the imagination of kids about the sea and sea life.

The film will be shown daily at 1pm and 3pm. The museum is open seven days a week. For more information call 239-337-3332.
