The Southwest Florida FM radio station known as "Lite 93.7" has made its annual metamorphosis into "Christmas 93.7."

The station will be playing only Christmas music through December. All day every day.

"It's just the holidays are a magical time of the year," says host Jim Kelly. "It's amazing how playing holiday music just puts everyone right back in the spirit of the holiday season."

Kelly says the station polls listeners throughout the year to find out what songs to play. The list includes new songs as well as older classics.

"All we're missing is a winter chill," says Kelly. "It's happened in the past like that but we're in a little warm spell. What is it, like 83 today?"
