Scam alert

By WINK News

We've got a scam alert for you.

If you get a phone call from someone who says all banks are changing account numbers, and they need your personal info...just hang up the phone.

The Lee County Sheriff's office is working on several reported cases of this scam.

The calls are coming from someone trying to steal your identity.

Just to be clear, banks are not making these changes.

Don't give any personal information to these callers.

Bank of America... say no more

The banks, especially Bank Of America, do not put a lock on peoples accounts. I have this problem at my bank, where is the bank is allowing withdraws by any one!, and charging high overdraft fees. Legal scamming by banks. The bank will not lock my account so anyone can take funds, even when there are none?
