FORT MYERS, Fla. – For the ninth annual year, the Festival of Trees is once again brightening up downtown in an effort to raise money for Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida.

Starting Wednesday, you can view more than 20 trees at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center and pick out the tree you like the best with a chance to win one. 13 trees are up for raffle, with tickets starting at $10 per ticket, $20 for three or $60 buys you a ticket for each tree. On Saturday, December 5th the annual Tux & Trees Gala will feature a live and silent auction.

Each tree has its own theme and comes with prizes, from trips to a day at the beach, even power tools and wine. Nine trees will be auctioned off live at the black-tie event, Goodwill Industries hopes to bring in more than $90,000 to support their various programs. The fun continues on Sunday, when Santa will arrive by fire truck at 10:00 a.m. for Santa’s annual block party at the Festival of Trees.
