As of 2:00 pm, a brush fire began off of hwy 72 in Arcadia. A neighbor was buring piles, to keep his crops from freezing over last nights cold.The wind carried the fire to a neghboring grove of palm trees,which belong to the peace river citrus company. The trees began to catch on fire and firefighters arrived to the scene. The blaze was uncontrolable and the chopper was called in to help put it out. At this moment fire officials are still finishing putting out this fire.
