Tracking another cool afternoon across SW Florida

Published: Updated:

Wednesday morning was the coldest for parts of Southwest Florida since January with temperatures plummeting to the 30s and 40s. The wind also made it feel much colder!

While Thursday morning won’t be quite as cold, it’ll still be chilly for most of the region! Temperatures will dip into the 40s and 50s with a slight breeze.

Please be safe and allow yourself extra time on the roadways!

In the tropics, a non-tropical low pressure system centered between the Madeira Islands and the Azores has become less organized. Subtropical development is no longer expected.

Regardless, the system will continue to produce strong winds and locally heavy rain in the Madeira Islands and the Azores through today.
