A large, bright pink construction crane arrived on site at The Terraces at Bonita Springs, a new senior living community coming to the Ft. Myers - Naples area. Use of the 70-ton crane benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation and raises breast cancer awareness. It’s a health effort that’s very important to the construction company, Lend Lease, as well as to The Terraces
Crew members and supporters sign the crane, which to date, has collected more than 300,000 signatures.
The Sims crane is named the “Mary Helen,” for a family member of a top executive with the construction company, who is a breast cancer survivor.
The pink crane will be on site at The Terraces periodically in the coming months until construction concludes at the new senior community and it opens next July.
