Publix Super Markets Charities recently donated $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties, bringing its lifetime donation amount to $599,000. Publix employees also support the local affiliate with volunteer labor. Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties is currently celebrating 30 years of service to familes in Southwest Florida. It is the second largest Habitat affiliate in the country.
