Many became Overheated during the wait for Obama Speech Tickets

Heat Exhaustion became a real concern for the more than 500 waiting for tickets to the Obama Speech coming up on Friday. The line stretched four city blocks and many were waiting more than two hours. EMS was called when people became distressed by the heat.  Fort Myers Fire Department and EMS deployed equipment to cool the crowd.  EMS reported that all illnesses were minor, and that all involved were expected to recover.
