The Special Forces Motorcycle Club will celebrate its seventh anniversary with a fundraiser on April 30, 2011, from noon until 3 p.m. at 12200 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers. This local event is part of the World Wide Ride in which motorcycle riders from around the globe will attempt to set a world record for the most riders to participate in a one day event.
The funds raised will go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation to provide scholarships, counseling, and other aid to the surviving children of fallen special operations personnel.
The $20 registration fee includes entertainment by the Marc Vee Band and the Calendar Girls, food and beverages, and a commemorative T-shirt, patch, and rocker.
Register at www.specialforcesmc.org or on April 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sunsports Cycle & Watercraft, Harley Davidson of Fort Myers, or Harley Davidson of Naples.
