The 4^th Annual Fallen Heroes Benefit will be held on March 19^th, 2011 in LaBelle. The event typically held in July near ‘Fallen heroes Day’ has been moved this year in hopes that we’ll have even more participation and support. This event will again benefit the Veteran’s Memorial Park located at the intersection of Hwy 80 and SR 29 in the heart of LaBelle. Each year the benefit has been a joint community project co-sponsored by the American Legion Post 130, Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post 10100, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 144 and the Fraternal Order of the Moose Lodge 2398.

After a short brick laying ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park at 9 a.m., the event will feature a full pork dinner with all the fixin’s for donation of $6 per person. Dinner will be served at VFW Post 10100 on SR 29. There will be entertainment including a live band, raffles, prizes and the famous cake and pie wheel.
