5th Annual Circulation Day

Published: Jan 06, 2011 11:35 AM EST

On, Friday, February 11th from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Unity of Fort Myers, located at 11120 Ranchette Road, will begin preparing for its 5th annual Circulation Day.  Volunteers from Unity of Fort Myers congregation will be collecting donated items (except clothing and mattresses) throughout Lee County to give away on Saturday, February 12th, from 8:00am - 11:00am.  Circulation Day is similar to a large yard or garage sale except everything is FREE.

Rev. Jim Rosemergy, minister of Unity of Fort Myers, explains Circulation Day this way, "Most of us have items in our homes that are 'out of circulation.'  We don't use them anymore even though they are still in good working order.  Circulation Day allows us to put those 'out of circulation' items into circulation again and into the hands of those who can use them."

Circulation Day is a public event.  Rev. Rosemergy adds, "We are excited to be able to positively impact our community.  On February 12th our congregation will be here to help those who attend to carry the items to their vehicles.  It is our joy to give and to give expression to the call to help those in need.  Remember, all items are FREE."

We would be delighted to pick-up your unused items and provide the opportunity to put them back into circulation.  If you have items (except clothing and mattresses) you would like to donate to this worthy event, please contact the Unity of Fort Myers at 239-278-1511.
