The Lee County area Kiwanis clubs logged over 125 volunteer hours to The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Collection Campaign during the 2010 holiday season. During the hours Kiwanis members manned the kettle over $6,800 were raised.

The Salvation Army’s goal this year was to raise $550,000. The organization is currently short of this goal by around $24,500. The Salvation Army is still accepting donations via their website (www.salvationarmyleecounty.org) or donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 60087 Fort Myers, FL 33906.
