Fort Myers Kiwanis Installs New Officers

Fort Myers Kiwanis Club held their installation banquet  for the club’s 2010-2011 officers at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre.

The individuals that took office include: Nathan Fred Shaw, owner of, as club president; Carolyn Engvalson, legal assistant at Roberts & Engvalson, P.A , as secretary, and Rob Underberg, optometrist, as treasurer.

The club is in it's 88th year of service to the community, and is known for the Thomas Alva Edison Kiwanis Regional Science and Engineering Fair, Kiwanis Park located in the Downtown Fort Myers River District and the World Atlas and Blessing in a Backpack projects at Edgewood Elementary.

Fort Myers Kiwanis is looking for more service-minded individuals and business professionals who would like to make a direct impact on the community through volunteering. Meetings are held every Wednesday at noon in Fort Myer's historic Kiwanis Hall, 1634 Woodford Avenue.
