Allegra Naples is now accepting applications for the 2013 FootPRINT Fund® Program. The program was developed to provide grants to select local non-profit organizations for printing, graphic and marketing related services.
The FootPRINT Fund® is available to any nonprofit group, association or charitable organization in Collier County, including previous winners. Applications are reviewed by an independent panel of judges comprised of local business professionals. The panel alone decides the award recipients based upon how Allegra’s marketing and print services will be used to further the organization’s goals. Each winning organization will receive a $500 or $1,000 grant to be used during 2013.
Including this year’s $12,000 Fund, Allegra will have contributed $34,000 to the local community by sponsoring the FootPRINT Fund®. Twenty-five Collier County organizations have been able to expand their marketing efforts through this program. Past winners have included: American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Club of Collier County, Care Club of Collier County, Collier Child Care Resources, Inc., Collier Pregnancy Centers, Inc., Drug Free Collier, Freedom Waters Foundation, Grace Place, Guadalupe Center of Immokalee, Gulfshore Playhouse, Habitat for Humanity of Collier County, Hope For Haiti, Jamaica Outreach Program, Inc., Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Laces of Love, Literacy Volunteers of Collier County, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, Miracle Limbs, Naples Equestrian Challenge, Naples Empty Bowls - Barron Collier High School, Parkinson Association of Southwest Florida Inc., Shelter for Abused Women & Children, Sunlight Home, and the Wishing Well Foundation.
“We are very excited to be entering our third year with the FootPRINT program,” said Paul Kessen, President of Allegra. “We truly believe that the work our local non-profits do for the community is priceless. We want to support the community by supporting our local non-profit agencies -- the FootPRINT Fund, along with The Posters With Purpose program, represents Allegra’s Community Care program for Collier County.”
