Colby Robertson joined WINK News in October 2011. After four years in Wisconsin, she's excited to be back in the Sunshine State. Colby was born in raised in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In need of "something warmer and different"
she headed to the University of Miami (FL). Colby realized her passion for telling stories reporting for UMTV. In 2007, Colby graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Psychology. Go Canes!

Colby began her TV career as a reporter at WAOW in Wausau, Wisconsin. In September of 2010 she moved a few hours south to Madison. While at WKOW, Colby spent most of her time covering the Capitol reporting on the Budget Battle that thrust Wisconsin into the national spotlight. Colby was at the center of the protests as thousands descended on the Capitol, in the Senate chambers the day 14 Democrats left for Illinois and covered the historic recall elections of nine state senators in the summer of 2011.

The warm weather and family in Naples made the decision to head back to Florida easy. Colby now lives in Naples and works out of the Collier County Bureau, covering anything and everything that happens between North Naples and Everglades City. Colby is very attached to Naples and is thrilled to be living in the city she grew up visiting.

When Colby is not at work, you can find her enjoying the beautiful Florida weather, working out, golfing and spending time with her mom and goldendoodle Kirby. Colby is also a huge sports fan. In the spring you can find her cheering on the Minnesota Twins during spring training in Fort Myers and in the fall traveling over to Miami to cheer on the 'Canes and visit college friends.
