Event Description
There will be many ceremonies on Veterans Day taking place on land, and because so many Veterans have been "buried at sea", we thought it would be appropriate to honor those brave men and women who have been laid to rest there.
Captain Pat McCarn of Rainbow Memorials At Sea is proudly initiating an annual event on Veterans Day that we have named: "Operation - Tribute At Sea". We will be honoring ALL Veterans from all wars for their service to our country. This service will take place three miles offshore from the Sanibel Bridge in the Gulf of Mexico.
We would like to extend an invitation to all boaters (Veteran or not) to join us as we travel the Caloosahatchee River on our journey to our destination in the Gulf of Mexico.
