"I am in the professional recording and broadcast industry, so accurate sound is essential to me. April Royan took the time to exactly match the instruments and the settings to my exacting standards. I would highly recommend April and Decibels Audiology to those who demand the best."
"Decibels Audiology provides excellent and sophisticated patient care for people who want and need dependable service and the ability to hear well. For two yeas she has provided me with excellent hearing aids with surprisingly minimal fuss and expense."
"I was aware for some time that I had a hearing loss that was beginning to interfere with conversations with others; however, I had no idea how to proceed to obtain help. I saw that April Royan of Decibels Audiology was presenting a seminar on hearing at my church. I attended and it was the best decision I have made in a long time. April explained the types of hearing loss and the various methods available to correct it in such a way that it was completely understandable. In subsequent testing at Decibel's, she evaluated my hearing and steered me to a perfect hearing aid. I adjusted to wearing it in one day. The whole process was simple, enjoyable and made so easy due to April's lovely manner and kind attention. I am delighted with the results."

"I have a black belt in hearing aids. Really... I have had hearing aids since I was 40. Just recently I came into Decibels to purchase a new set, for my 63 B'day. April was so pleasant to me as I thought that she was the receptionist. I was waiting for a crusty old codger like my self to the give me the audio test and so on. Well, she knew her stuff and I can say that after purchasing 6 sets hearing aids over the years she had me up and running with my latest set with no muss or fuss. As it was explained to me back when I wore younger man's clothes, hearing is really two things. One is how well your ears send the sound to your brain, or not. The second is how well your brain separates the "noise" from what you want to hear. So my latest set does both. They have been programmed to focus on amplifying what is in front of me and NOT behind. In this way the "noise" tends to be attenuated. As a follicle, memory and audio challenged guy I highly recommend seeing April, don't let her age fool you... she is the go to GAL."
-Joe the Realtor - Naples, FL
"I had a problem with my hearing for a number of years, but refused to accept the fact that I might need some professional help instead of just trying to "listen harder". Like others, I tried every gizmo and gadget sold in the stores and "as seen on TV" as "cheap, quick fixes" until finally deciding to get serious and contact a hearing professional. I found April’s ad in the phone directory and made the call. She made me feel comfortable from the first meeting, and I was very pleased at how quickly she was able to test my hearing and then fit me with the hearing aid of my choice. Now, thanks to April, I can participate in conversations that before were all but impossible for me to be a part of, without asking others to repeat themselves."
-Joan M. - Naples, FL
"I knew that I had difficulty hearing, but was reluctant to be tested for hearing aids. At my spouse's urging, I finally agreed to a hearing test that confirmed what I already knew. April Royan convinced me, in a low pressure and disarming manner, that I should give the hearing aids a trial. I have been amazed at how wonderful everything now sounds, especially my acoustic guitar. The effort of caring for the hearing aids is little in relation to the great joy of hearing everything again. And I have worn them to social gatherings and meetings, yet no one has noticed them in my ears."
-Mike I. - Naples, FL
"I am very satisfied with my new hearing aids, 100% better than my old ones. April’s examination and explanations were very professional and helpful. Thank you!!"
-June S. - Naples, FL
"I brought my two and a half year old son to Decibels Audiology when I had concerns about his hearing in relation to his learning disabilities. April Royan's warm, caring manner immediately made my child feel at ease and this helped in his willingness to be tested. I really appreciated how Ms. Royan took the time to find and discuss relevant information and resources with me. I highly recommend April Royan to parents looking for an audiologist who is a professional that really cares about helping children and their parents."
-Kathy L. - Naples, FL
"I have followed April to her new location, due to the fact she is a professional Audiologist. I have appreciated her patience with me as an "elderly" client. I highly recommend her to other seniors!"
