Memorable Assignments

The 2013 West Fertilizer Company plant explosion in West, Texas, that killed 14 first responders, the trial of the man convicted of the 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, the second attack on Fort Hood in April 2014 and being one of the first reporters on scene of the May 2015 Waco biker gang shootout that left nine people dead and 17 injured.

Interesting Facts

Studied abroad for a year where she scuba dived in the Great Barrier Reef, hiked a glacier in New Zealand, attended La Tomatina (the famous tomato fight) in Buñol, Spain, and has traveled to eight countries so far.
