Nick Fokianos joined WINK News in February 2007. He is the Executive Online Producer and Administrator for WINKNEWS.com

His segment  Nick the Webguy segment airs on television every Wednesday during WINK News This Morning.

Nick was born in Queens, New York, and grew up in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He is a graduate from The University of Tampa where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. During college he was the TV Station manager for the University of Tampa television station, WUTV. He was awarded first place in the Protovin Media Awards Video I and Video II. He was also awarded The Florida Association of Broadcasters, Inc. LeRoy Collins Memorial Award, and University of Tampa Outstanding Communication Student of the Year.

Nick has interned at WABC News, WFLA News, and Sesame Street. After college he worked as a Web Producer at WTSP News in Tampa Bay, Florida. Nick is a member of ONA: The Online News Association.
