Arriving from KEYT-TV in Santa Barbara, California, Scott Zedeker brings with him a great deal of knowledge and experience with graphic presentations.

After graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science, he moved to Boston to work at WSI, a weather corporation that builds weather systems for on-air graphic work. Later, Scott relocated to the Los Angeles area to work at UPN where he produced the weather segments.

Scott grew up in Dublin, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus), but spent the summer months of his youth in the Bonita Beach area. Our Southwest Florida weather and summer thunderstorms always fascinated him. He believes that in addition to providing a forecast, television weather should be entertaining, animated and visually pleasing.

In his spare time, Scott bikes the road and the trails, with his mountain bike race season in the fall. He says "it is a very demanding and competitive sport. You must get in shape for the season by putting hundreds of miles in on the bike." When he is not on his pedal bikes, you may see him around town on his Harley. If no storms are threatening, he will make it to Sturgis, SD for the motorcycle rally -- a trip that he has done three time now.

Scott also plays golf around southwest Florida and snowboards out west in the winter. He defines himself as adventurous and creative and will try anything once.
