For Vincent Postiglione, joining Southwest Florida's News Leader is the realization of a life long dream.

In the fifth grade, he did a mock live shot in front of the 'ruined village of Pompeii.' It was at that moment the news bug pounced on our unsuspecting lad like the radioactive spider on a young Peter Parker, and the results have been just as infectious and meteoric.

Fast-forward thirteen years… and Postiglione emerged from Colorado State University (located in ever-beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado!) with two bachelor's degrees (Journalism and Criminology) and three years of live air experience.

Since joining WINK News in early 2007, he has been your eyes and ears on the scene for dozens of exclusive and first-breaking stories: the Frank D'Alessandro disappearance in Point Pleasant, NJ; tornados in Cape Coral; counterfeit Colgate toothpaste in Fort Myers; Lee County School Board and Time Out Rooms; and of course brushfires, tropical storms, and law enforcement actions.

When he's not chasing the latest news, Postiglione can be found at Bonita Springs Dog Beach chasing his one-year-old Australian Labrador, Rajah, who's cute as the dickens. Postiglione also enjoys vintage motorcycles, Cuban food and coffee, early Jazz, and being involved with the Episcopal Church.
