Haley Hinds joined the WINK NEWS team in October 2009.

She caught the news bug early on during a grade school field trip to KDKA-TV in her hometown, Pittsburgh. She went on to graduate from Waynesburg University in 2008 with a B.A. in Communication/Electronic Media.

Haley started her career at WTVH/WSTM in Syracuse, New York as a one man band reporter where she covered everything from snow storms to a high-profile hate crime murder trial to Syracuse University athletics.

But, she was born wearing flip flops and always knew she was meant to live in the Florida sunshine. She couldn't be happier to continue her career in beautiful Southwest Florida.

Haley can be found most Sundays cheering the Steelers on to another Super Bowl win (member #223 of the Fort Myers Steelers Fan Club!) She also enjoys competing in marathons and triathlons, singing, baking, golfing and spending time at the beach.
