Althea Paul is a Florida girl and is thrilled to be back in the Sunshine State. She joins WINK-TV from WCAV/ WVAW /WAHU in Charlottesville, VA, where she was a reporter and weekend anchor.

Althea grew up in Miami, where she first started her career in journalism. For about a year, Althea wrote for the Neighbor's section of the Miami Herald, while still in college. She focused on community issues and development. After graduating, she shifted over to TV news, spending about a year and a half as a writer at WSVN in Miami. Althea graduated from Florida International University, cumme laude, with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.

In her spare time, Althea enjoys shopping, reading, and spoiling her puppy Pomeranian, Bella.
