Nick Spinetto is proud to be part of the WINK News Team. He comes to WINK from WSHM-TV, the CBS affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he served as a general assignment reporter and substitute anchor.

Nick is a true New Englander (Red Sox anyone?), growing up in Southern Massachusetts and attending college in Boston.

Though he'll miss the fall foliage, he's happy to be settling down in Southwest Florida.

Nick began his career as a reporter in Central Texas. While there, he got a taste of southern weather, having to cover several severe storms. After two years of reporting in Texas, Nick moved on to Springfield, Massachusetts to work for the CBS affiliate. It took some time to re-adjust to life in New England (the winters are brutal), but being able to spend time with family and friends again was worth it.

Nick is an Emerson College graduate with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. He has won several Associated Press Awards for his reporting and producing.

In addition to watching the news, Nick enjoys watching movies and spending time with his wife Lindsay, also a WINK reporter, and their dog Boston.
