Tami Osborne Tami OsborneReporter
Tami Osborne joined WINK News as a reporter in May 2008.
Tami comes to Southwest Florida from Grand Forks, North Dakota, where she served as an anchor and reporter for WDAZ-TV. During her time in North Dakota, she covered everything from flooding, tornadoes, and the biggest trial in state history. She also received several awards for her work at WDAZ, including a "Best In Show" from the Minnesota Associated Press for her work covering the 2005 Red Lake High School shootings. Before working in North Dakota, Tami got her first experience in the newsroom at WBZ-TV, the CBS affiliate in Boston. Tami is no stranger to South Florida. She graduated from the University of Miami in 2004 with a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism. Before that, Tami received her bachelor's degree from Stonehill College in her home state of Massachusetts. Although she spent four winters braving below zero temperatures, Tami is excited to be back in Florida. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, James, as well as traveling home to Marshfield, Massachusetts to visit family and friends. Tami also plays tennis, and now that she's in Florida, she's also learning how to golf. And of course, being from the Boston area and being a huge sports fan, Tami is very excited to be near the spring training home of the Red Sox.
