Jason Nguyen comes from the great state of Ohio. While growing up with a father that works in Public Relations for the City of Cleveland, he saw a greater good in servicing his community. Jason started his journalism career at the University of Toledo, where he quickly learned television broadcasting, working on many of the campus shows. Growing in his knowledge of television Jason started working with BCSN Sports Rap helping to produce a bi-weekly local sports show. From there he started working for WMNT as an Assistant Master Control Operator for a local cable station broadcasting syndication shows and the Detroit Pistons Basketball games.

Getting back to photojournalism was his ultimate goal, he then took a job with WTVG 13ABC Action News. Learning all what it takes to give you the news you now watch on WINK News Now. Jason has covered a varity of stories including the murders of NFL All Pro Sean Taylor and Port Charlotte mother Denise Amber Lee, the President campaign trails in Southwest Florida, all the way to the great feature stories such as Maggie Mondays that you watch in the mornings.

When Jason is not busy working he enjoys cooking, going out to new restaurants, walking his dog, going to the beach, and seeing what life has to offer.
