Mike joined the WINK NEWS team in November 2007,(just in time for sweeps). Mike spent the majority of his life growing up and going to school in Northeast Ohio. He received a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Youngstown State University.

Mike started at WKBN in Youngstown, Ohio as a production assistant. He soon grew tired of shooting commercials and wanted to really get into news. He jumped ship to WYTV in Youngstown as a news photographer and really cut his teeth, covering a wide variety of stories ranging from board meetings, house explosions, and many violent crime scenes, showing just how crazy this business can sometimes be.

When not devoting a huge chunk of his time to work, Mike enjoys hanging out with friends, and enjoying the beautiful weather in Southwest Florida.
