Donny Sobnosky

Photojournalist

Before joining WINK News in February of 2008, Donny spent his whole life in Northeast Ohio, where he grew up and went to school. He received a bachelor’s degree in video and film production from Kent State University, where he was very active on campus writing weekly articles for The Daily Kent Stater, working at the university television station TV2, teaching freshman orientation, and always staying actively involved in his fraternity, Delta Chi.

After graduation he landed a 'first assistant camera' crew position on the independent film “Redemption Falls,” which was shot over the summer of 2007 in Canton, Ohio.

Most recently Donny spent a season in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns in the new media department before joining WINK News.

Donny is a friendly guy who enjoys the Florida weather and being able to go to the beach year round. In his spare time Donny enjoys rooting for his favorite sport teams: the Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians (you can tell he’s from the Cleveland area) as well as working out, playing PlayStation3, and obsessing over his favorite TV show, LOST.
