The Miracle scored six runs in the third inning and held on to beat Bradenton 6-2 on Wednesday night at JetBlue Park. Coupled with Tuesday nights 8-7 win in Bradenton, Fort Myers wins the Florida State League Semifinal series, 2-0. The Miracle will start the best of five Championship series against Daytona on Thursday night. The Cubs also won their series, 2-0. Fort Myers has lost to Daytona both times it has made it to the Florida State League Championship. Games one and two will be at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers with the remaining games in Daytona.

DJ Baxendale earned the win for the Miracle with seven innings pitched, the righty allowed one, un-earned run in the third inning which breifly gave Bradenton a 1-0 lead.  

The Miracle had nine hits including a two-run homer by Dalton Hicks to cap the six run third inning. 

Thursday and Friday nights games at JetBlue Park are scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m.
