NAPLES, Fla.- The Barron Collier Cougars have a lot of seniors on their starting roster. The team is hoping those seniors along with a new quarterback could lead the cougars to a winning season.

The sophmore transfer is young and new to the team, however, head coach Dan Pallante says he brings a lot of experience.

Last season the Cougars had a losing season; they had a 3-6 record. Pallante says it's been a motivator for the cougars in the off season.

"There are a couple of things that happened last year with certain teams in the county, certain losses that really bothered the kids," Pallante said, "and they want to be the best."

The Barron Collier Cougars' first game is a non-conference game. They host the Miami Braddock Bulldogs on August 29th
