CAPE CORAL - The Cape Coral Seahawks were second in the district last year behind Island Coast. They lost their leading rusher from last season, Eamon Smart.

They also lost most of their offensive and defensive lines.Everyone else, however, is back including quarterback Dylan Bontrager. Cape Coral will, once again, run a fast paced, no-huddle offense.

"A lot of scoring," said head coach, Larry Gary, "Offense, we going to score. Defense, we going to stop people; a lot of class."

Senior quarterback, Dylan Bontrager said, "We haven't seen the playoffs since freshman year and it definitely means everything to me, going into my senior year putting everything on the field every Friday night. It means everything to the team to go back to the old Cape and bringing back the tradition and going to the playoffs."

Cape Coral starts the season on the 29th against East Lee County.
