FORT MYERS, Fla. - Philadelphia Eagles Safety, and Fort Myers native, Nate Allen, spoke to some young boys at McGregor Baptist Church. The event was called "Breakfast, Bible and the Boyz." He spoke to a crowd of young boys and their parents about his journey to the NFL. He also talked to them about the importance of staying grounded.

"I grew up here, in Fort Myers, and grew up in church here at McGregor," he said, "and it's been the biggest part in my life. The Lord is number one in my life and He guides everything that I do and the decisions that I make," Allen said. "That's what I tell these little kids, just don't worry about what everybody else is saying or what friends or peer pressure is telling you to do."
