Friday was a good day for Southwest Florida stars in the Major League Baseball draft.  The Cleveland Indians selected former Ida Baker High School pitcher

Sean Brady in the fifth round.  Meanwhile, FGCU was very well represented on day two:  The Eagles sent pitcher Harrison Cooney to the Angels in the sixth

round, infielder Brandon Bednar to the Giants in the seventh round and pitcher Ricky Knapp to the Mets in the eighth round.
