ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Texas Rangers third baseman Michael Young was out of the starting lineup for the second straight game due to a stiff neck.

Young left Monday night's game against Tampa Bay after six innings and didn't play on Tuesday. He first felt the neck discomfort when he woke up Monday.

Young said he was feeling better on Wednesday, but his movement is still limited. He's undergoing daily treatment for the injury.

Also, the Rangers recalled left-hander Derek Holland from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Wednesday's game with the Rays and optioned reliever Pedro Strop to the PCL club.
