MIAMI (AP) — Donnie Murphy delivered his second game-ending hit of the week giving the Florida Marlins a 7-6 win over the Atlanta Braves on Friday night.

Murphy also hit a game-winning homer to beat Colorado on Monday.

Jose Veras (2-0) earned the win despite squandering the lead in the ninth inning for the Marlins. Billy Wagner (5-1) took the loss, blowing his fourth save in 26 chances.

Wagner loaded the bases in the ninth with one out. He struck out Dan Uggla before a passed ball by McCann allowed the Marlins to tie the game with Murphy batting. Murphy drove a 2-1 pitch from Wagner into center field for the victory.

Brian McCann's RBI single in the ninth had tied the game. Matt Diaz was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to give Atlanta a 6-5 lead.
