PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Unlike last week at Quail Hollow,
Tiger Woods will be playing during the weekend. The world's
top-ranked golfer has made the cut at The Players Championship,
shooting a 71 for a 36-hole total of 3-under.

But Woods is way off the 36-hole lead held by Lee Westwood. He
signed for a 7-under-par 65 on another gentle day at TPC Sawgrass
and the Englishman sits at 12-under 132.

Heath Slocum, Japan's Ryuji Imada and
Francesco Molinari of Italy fired a 65 to get to minus-11.

Phil Mickelson flirted with the cut line until making a tough
chip for a birdie on 16. He's tied with Woods for 46th, nine shots
off the lead.
