FORT MYERS Fla. - You only have a few more days to get a glimpse of Florida, the way it looked back in the 1900's.

The Southwest Florida Museum of History is showcasing an exhibit called "Enchantments: The Photographic Adventures of Julian Dimock and Clyde Butcher."

The unique photography tour takes you back in time featuring early 20th century photography by Julian Dimock, paired with select works by modern photographer Clyde Butcher.

From 1904 to 1913 Julian Dimock and his father, Anthony Weston “A.W.” Dimock, traveled through the then mysterious wet and swamp lands of South Florida between Miami and Fort Myers.

Their various magazine articles and books illustrated and showcased the unknown everglades region to the rest of the world. Now some of that work is on display for you to see and take in, giving you a rare look back.

The exhibit closes Saturday, August 30th. The Southwest Florida Museum of History is located at 2031 Jackson Street in Fort Myers.
