FORT MYERS, Fla. -Shark Week just wrapped up on the Discovery Channel but we're keeping it alive in Southwest Florida.  Mercato is showing the original JAWS movie Tuesday at 8:00 p.m.  Bring a chair or blanket and watch the classic film.  Mercato shops and restaurants also have a lot of specials and giveaways that night.  The movie is free.

Love That Dress, the signature fundraising event for Pace Center For Girls is less than two weeks away; August 27 at the Embassy Suites Estero and August 23 at the Naples Beach Hotel.  If you still want to donate a gently loved dress, they will be accepted through this Wednesday.  Head to lovethatdress.org to find out where to drop them off.  This event usually sells out so now is the time to purchase your tickets.

There are also two fun events happening Thursday -- in opposite ends of Southwest Florida.  Thursdays on Third in Naples, where the streets and courtyards come alive with music and entertainment, runs from 6:00-9:00 p.m.  Farther north is the Downtown Punta Gorda Gallery Walk.  Check out a variety of local artists and musicians in the shops, galleries and restaurants in this charming historic district.  The free event runs from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
