CAPE CORAL, Fla. - In honor of Parks & Recreation Month, Cape Coral is hosting a free class in hopes of enhancing your gardening skills. Maybe someday making you a master gardener.

Gardening doesn't have to be hard and can actually be easier than you think. Master Gardner's with Cape Coral Parks & Recreation and the University of Florida Yards and Neighborhoods Program, plan to teach you the tips and tricks to success. Like how to re-use trimmings and clippings, efficient use of water, proper mulching and more.

The pros will also teach you what plants work best in our Florida climate and your yard, along with where and how they'll work best. In-fact those who RSVP in advance for the class will be eligible for a free plant of their own.

The class is free and runs 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25th at Rotary Park, 5505 Rose Garden Rd. in Cape Coral.
