TICE, Fla. - Lee County firefighters are investigating whether three overnight fires are connected.

The first fire broke out around 1:00 a.m. Monday on Palm Beach Boulevard. The second happened in the 400 block of Waverly Avenue in a shed next to a home, followed by the third in the 4000 block of Palm Beach Boulevard.

A family of six was in the home on Waverly Avenue at the time of the shed fire. They were able to get out safely.

Firefighters said both fires on Palm Beach Boulevard involved vehicles. The Tice Fire Department has not linked all three fires, but they said the fact that all three happened so close to each other, within a short period of time makes the incidents suspicious.
