The Chico's Patty Berg Memorial is a big deal for golfers who get to play with and watch some pros, three day event at Cypress Lake Country Club, First round of play began today at 7:30 a.m. next round is at noon. associated with the LPGA so you'll see professionals here and get to play with them, also a benefit for the American Cancer Society, free with free parking at Edison College and a shuttle to the course.

One of the most beautiful islands in Southwest Florida is Cayo Costa and Saturday is the 3rd annual Cayo Costa Heritage Day at the state park, celebrating it's colorful history with tours, beach walks, music and kids activities. Have to take a ferry and they leave from Pine Island, Captiva and Punta Gorda INFO: Saturday 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Three food events this weekend for you to sink your teeth into:
WINK's own Katie Walls is hosting a very cool Lionfish Fest Sunday. Some of the areas top chefs will be competing to come up with unique and original dishes using Lionfish, a beautiful non-native fish that has become a deadly predator to native species, there will also be an auction and entertainment. Benefits Heights Foundation and  Lee Reef's Marine Management Fund. Fishing tournament to roundup as many Lionfish as possible will be held tomorrow. I will be there as well, as one of the judges. Sunday is Taste of The Beach on Fort Myers Beach, Old San Carlos Blvd, to the right after you cross the big bridge. Food from some 20 restaurants, live music and you get to vote for your favorites in several categories.  INFO: 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
