NAPLES, Fla. - Mercato will host its Third Annual International Food Festival on Sunday, May 4 from 12 to 4 p.m. The event offers international food samplings for bite-sized prices from Mercato’s restaurants including AZN Azian Cuizine, Grace & Shelly’s Cupcakes, MASA, McCormick & Schmick’s, Naples Flatbread, The Pub, Rusty Bucket, Second Cup, TAPS and more.
Complimentary samplings will also be offered by Sur La Table and Bonterra Organic Vineyards. Outdoor bars will be hosted by Naples Flatbread and MASA with wine, beer and signature drinks.
Admission to the festival is free and includes performances from singer/songwriter Devon Meyers and Sudden Recall, a Brit Rock tribute band.
Children will enjoy the Kid Zone featuring bounce house, face painting, chalk walk, arts and crafts tent and stilt walker/balloon artist Way Too Tall Torrie. Lawn games include corn hole and giant checkers.
This event supports St. Matthew’s House and PACE Center for Girls. Guests donating non-perishable food items to St. Matthew’s will receive a Mercato stainless steel insulated mug (while supplies last). Guests donating a dress for PACE Center for Girls’ annual Love That Dress! event will receive a passport. One randomly selected winner who fills the passport with stamps from participating Mercato merchants will receive a $500 Mercato Experience Package.
Immediately following the Food Fest, MASA kicks of their Cinco De Mayo block party with live Latin music, Mexican street food and drink specials.
