FORT MYERS, Fla. -- It's Friday, and we're all looking forward to the holiday weekend. There are plenty of exciting and festive things to do around Southwest Florida. Gina Birch is here today to fill us in.

The Edison and Ford Winter Estates is celebrating 50 years of the Ford Mustang with special exhibits. More than 80 mustangs will be on site with their owners. Admission is free to Estate Members, $20 for everyone else. At the even you'll get Estate tours, food, and live music. It's from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Also on Saturday is the 11th Annual Easter Bunny Toy Run to benefit the Golisano Children's Hospital. Motorcycle riders are asked to bring toys, games, arts and crafts but no stuffed animals to Harley-Davidson Fort Myers. Bikers will get a police escort to the hospital and lunch back at the Harley store. It starts at 9 a.m. at Harley-Davidson Fort Myers, 2160 Colonial Blvd. It's $10 for a rider, $5 passenger. Also Saturday is another Easter event, this one for dogs and their owners at Fishermen's Village. The Salty Paws 5th Annual Easter Bone Hunt. 700 hidden bones need to be found. There is also a costume contest for dogs and pictures with the Easter Bunny. All proceeds will benefit local animal shelters.
