FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Just because the weekend ended doesn't mean the fun has to. Gina Birch is here this morning to fill us in on some of the events happening around Southwest Florida this week, plus some new music hitting store shelves.

Jason Derulo is debuting "Talk Dirty," his first single is titled the same. At first, Derulo wrote and produced for everyone else. But then he broke his neck and fully recovered and started doing his own thing. Now he's debuting his third album after selling more than 20 million records.

There is a a unique art exhibit and show Wednesday at Ding Darling on Sanibel. The Upcycle Art Fest is a place where artists get to show high quality works made from recycled and repurposed materials. This is the first time they've done this. It will also have education and entertainment on how recycling protects wildlife. The event is from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Go to www.dingdarlingsociety.org for more information.

Thursday is the Downtown Punta Gorda Gallery Walk. It features artists and music filling the streets, and shops of downtown. It's from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Punta Gorda Historic District. Admission is free.

Also Thursday is Pin Ups for Wishes for Make a Wish Foundation. It's a roaring 20s theme with a silent auction and casino style gambling
