IMMOKALEE, Fla. - The best in barbeque will compete for the national championship title at Seminole Casino Immokalee’s third annual “Pigs in Paradise” Festival.

Six nationally-renowned “ribbers” will cook up the best in ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket in hopes of winning the coveted national championship. Local celebrity judges and barbeque enthusiasts will determine who gets crowned in this invitational cook-off. In addition to mouthwatering treats, festival attendees will enjoy live music, a classic car show, pig races, a motorcycle rally and an art show.

To help close out the weekend, country music star Josh Turner will perform a free concert on Sunday, November 24, at 6 p.m.

The event kicks off 3 p.m. Friday. Gates open noon on Saturday and Sunday.

Seminole Casino Immokalee is located at 506 South 1st Street, in Immokalee. Admission is free.
