General Rules:
Remain 10 steps away from the bus.
Make sure the driver sees you.
Always cross in front of the bus.
At The Bus Stop:
Walk, don't run to the bus stop.
Walk on the sidewalk.
Walk on the left facing traffic.
Arrive 5 minutes early.
Wait in a safe place away from the road.
Don't talk or go with strangers.
Wait for the red flashing lights and stop sign.
On The Bus:
Go directly to a seat.
Remain seated and face forward.
Talk quietly.
Do not distract the driver.
If you must talk to the driver, wait for a stop.
Never throw things on the bus or out the window.
Never play with emergency exits.
Keep the aisles clear at all times.
Listen to the driver.
Respect the driver.
Exiting The Bus:
Walk always, do not run.
Step 3 steps away from the door when exiting.
Stay away from the bus wheels.
Look for moving cars.
Go straight home.
Get off at your bus stop.
If you leave / drop something, alert the driver.
Always make sure the driver can see you.
Motorist Safety:
Follow the law.
Stop when flashing lights are on.
Look for children.
Obey school speed zones.
Avoid cell phone usage.
