FORT MYERS, Fla - It's Wednesday and that means it's time to fire up the WINK kitchen. Chef Teh from the Timbers Restaurant and Fish Market joined us this morning to show us how to make Miso Honey Glaze Tuna Sliders.
Miso Honey Glaze Tuna Sliders
(Yield 16 oz)
6oz White Miso
2oz Rice Wine Vinegar
2oz Soy Sauce
Mix miso, honey, sake, rice vinegar and soy sauce in a mixing bowl. Whisk until well incorporated.
For the Tuna:
1.) 1lb of Fresh Tuna, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes. Marinate with 2 tablespoons of premade Miso-honey glaze.
2.) Heat saute pan to high heat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, flash sear all sides of the fish.
This glazed tuna may serve as an entrée with rice, noodles or any starch and vegetables, or serve as an appetizer, sandwich or entrée salad.
