OVIEDO, Fla. (AP) - Authorities have found the body of one of the boaters missing since the weekend on Lake Jesup in central Florida.
Search crews found the body of 30-year-old Jason M. Cobb floating in the water near Bird Island on Wednesday. He and 26-year-old Charles T. Jackson went missing early Saturday when they took a 15-foot boat onto the lake.
Investigators from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission say the men were likely ejected from their boat shortly after 1:30 a.m. Saturday. A friend found their boat empty about 12 hours later.
Search efforts are continuing for Jackson.
Officials say there were no apparent signs of trauma to Cobb's body.
