FORT MYERS, Fla.  Variety magazine has called him one of the 10 comics to watch as a result of his break out year,  when he co-starred in three movies that were number one in the box office.
    Jay Phillips appeared with Will Ferrell in "Semi-Pro",  Tina Fey in "Baby Mama" and a role in the movie "Prom Night"
